DOWNLOAD THE NEW DIVORCEMATE
We are thrilled to introduce our newest DivorceMate Cloud platform, a winning combination of our most popular Cloud and Desktop features. Incorporating member feedback with the latest technology, you will enjoy all the benefits of the Cloud while integrating fully with Microsoft Word.
Click on the menu symbol. Select “Desktop Import” under “Utilities”.
Select the matters you wish to import (they will be marked as “queued”). You may filter the list to exclude certain matters.
Click “Import/Upload”. This may take time depending on the number of matters and the number of documents.
A green checkmark will appear once a matter has been imported.
You are required to login when your current session expires. This ensures the security of your documents.
When your session expires, the connection between your device and DivorceMate Cloud is interrupted. By logging in, you re-establish this connection, allowing you to continue working seamlessly.
Logging in also ensures that changes made to your documents are saved and synced with the cloud.
DivorceMate Cloud uses an Add-In that is optimized for Office 2021 and later versions. Compatibility with earlier Office versions may vary depending on specific retail versions and Windows configurations.
To ensure the best experience, we recommend using Office 2021 or later with WebView2 integration for a seamlessly smooth and responsive user interface.
DivorceMate documents are integrated with features and functionalities that rely on the DivorceMate platform. When you use “Save As”, you create a new copy of the document and you are no longer functioning directly within the DivorceMate platform, which is why the Side Pane is not available.
Once you have used “Save As” to save the document elsewhere, changes made won’t automatically update the original DivorceMate document or reflect any modifications within the DivorceMate platform.
To ensure proper updates and synchronization with DivorceMate, it’s essential to use the “Save” button in Microsoft Word.
To create a Custom Template:
Within any matter, click on the ‘New’ button and click ‘Form’.
Highlight the form you wish to customize.
Click on the 'Custom' button at the bottom left of the screen.
Name your custom template and press ‘OK’ (or name and save it at the end, depending on the ‘Save Options’ you have set in your profile).
Edit your document as needed and press ‘Save’.
The customized form is now ready to be used for any matter.
To access your ‘Custom Templates’:
Within any matter, once again open the ‘Form’ window to create a new form, but this time click on the 'Custom Templates' tab at the top.
Double-click on the custom template in the list that you wish to use, and the customized form will open with all of the matter details auto-populated.
There are two options for matter privacy in DivorceMate:
A global setting where a matter created by a user is accessible only to that individual until access is granted to other firm members. If this setting is enabled, it applies to all new matters created.
Users have the option to restrict access to other firm members on a matter-by-matter basis. Everyone is added to the matter by default, and the user can simply uncheck any users who should not have access.
For Legacy Desktop users of DivorceMate only.
